Our Services to Parents

We help recruit all types of childcare, nannies, Mothershelp, Maternity Nurses, Doulas, Au Pair, Baby Sitters you name it. We can help sort out whatever childcare requirement you need.

If you’re interested in the services we offer parents and would like information about our childcare service, please call and speak to a consultant or email us and a consultant will then call you to have a discussion about your enquiry.

1. How to Get in Touch & Registering

Phone us on 0845 4633619 or 07859 710572 to be put through to a consultant who will answer your questions and send you all necessary information to register you.

2. Nannies’ CVs & References

Once you have given us all the relevant information your consultant will send you the details of candidates who are best suited to your requirements. All our childcarers have been interviewed by a consultant, had their qualifications checked, verbal references taken up and details on whether the candidate currently holds a first aid certification or an enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) is confirmed to you via the candidate’s CV. All Childcarers will either have a CRB dated within the last year which Spectacular Childcare team will verify, apply for a new one through us or will be waiting a job offer prior to applying for a CRB through the Ofsted Childcare Register.

3. Interviewing your Nanny

Once you receive the nannies’ CVs it is likely you will want to meet at least one or more of them. Contact your designated consultant and she will arrange a mutually convenient time for your nanny to meet you and your family. Your consultant will continue to arrange interviews until you find a nanny that is right for you and your family.

4. Contracts and PAYE

Once we have found a childcarer that you wish to employ a contract will need to be drawn up between you and the nanny. Spectacular Childcare provides a standard form contract, which we recommend you use and we will be happy to advise you on the contract as necessary. If you have any general employment law questions then feel free to contact us, and speak to us.

5. Placement Fee and Our Guarantee

Once the booking has been confirmed a fee is payable. The fee covers the placing of a candidate and includes a guaranteed replacement should the candidate not work out within the first four weeks.

7. The Payroll service

Becoming a domestic employer can be a source of concern as well as an administrative nightmare for parents – especially those without a working knowledge of the Tax System. We are happy to help and refer you to our Partner who can handle your payroll issues, you do not have to worry about that.

8. After Care Service

Because of the selection process, usually the candidate selected is the right one. However, occasionally things do not work out as planned. Your designated consultant will stay in touch to help the nanny settle down, by, for example, putting her in touch with other nannies in the area.
